RAPIDS ADD JEFF COWAN TO THEIR COACHING STAFF
The Grand Falls Rapids are pleased to announce the addition of JEFF COWAN to its coaching staff.
Cowan has over 400 games of experience as an NHL player and has coached in the QMJHL for 8 seasons with the Saint John Sea Dogs, including some of that time spent in the company of Greg Leland, the Rapids’ head coach.
A Scarborough (Ontario) native, Cowan played with four different teams during his NHL career: Calgary, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Vancouver.
With the Sea Dogs, he was named interim head coach during the 2019-2020 campaign.
Jeff will bring experience and passion to the coaching staff and the entire Rapids’ organization welcomes him to Grand Falls!
LES RAPIDES AJOUTENT JEFF COWAN AUPRÈS DE LEUR PERSONNEL D’ENTRAÎNEURS
Les Rapides de Grand-Sault sont heureux d’annoncer l’ajout de JEFF COWAN à titre d’entraîneur adjoint.
Cowan a disputé plus de 400 matchs dans la LNH et a entraîné pendant 8 saisons dans la LHJMQ avec les Sea Dogs de Saint John. Avec les Sea Dogs, il a eu l’occasion de travailler étroitement auprès de Greg Leland, l’entraîneur-chef actuel chez les Rapides.
Natif de Scarborough (Ontario), Cowan a évolué en tant que joueur avec quatre formations différentes dans la LHN, soit Calgary, Atlanta, Los Angeles et Vancouver.
Notons qu’avec les Sea Dogs, il a été nommé entraîneur-chef par intérim lors de la saison 2019-2020.
Jeff apporte donc avec lui une passion et beaucoup d’expérience auprès du personnel d’entraîneurs de l’équipe. L’organisation des Rapides lui souhaite la bienvenue à Grand-Sault!
