RAPIDS ACQUIRE FORWARD COEN MILLER FROM MIRAMICHI

The Grand Falls Rapids and Miramichi Timberwolves have completed a trade involving four players and some draft picks.

The Rapids obtain forward COEN MILLER and a 7th round draft pick from Miramichi in the 2026 MHL draft. In return, the Rapids send forward BRAYDEN CAMPBELL, defenseman JULIEN AVIGNON-BOURQUE, the rights to JAXSON SOMERS, a conditional 2nd round pick in 2026, as well as a 3rd round pick in the 2026 MHL draft.

Miller, a 2006-born player from Bedford (Nova Scotia), scored 16 goals in 19 games this season with the Summerside Western Capitals while adding 19 assists for a total of 35 points. He was traded to the Timberwolves on November 26. Despite playing only 19 games this season, Miller is in 5th place in the MHL scoring race.

He also played 38 games with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL between 2023 and 2025.

As for Brayden Campbell, he was in his third season with the Rapids, scoring 21 goals and earning 32 assists for 53 points in 88 games.

Avignon-Bourque was in his first season with Grand Falls picking up 8 assists in 23 games

Jaxson Somers plays this season with the Moncton Flyers at the Midget AAA level, posting a record of 17 goals and 25 assists for 42 points.

The Rapids organization would like to welcome Coen to Grand Falls and wish all the best of luck to Brayden, Julien and Jaxson with their new team.
