Les Rapides de Grand-Sault sont heureux d’annoncer que l’attaquant MATHIS HUOT s’est engagé à jouer avec l’équipe pour la saison 2022-2023.
Mesurant 6 pieds et 5 pouces et pesant 190 livres, Mathis a disputé les deux dernières campagnes avec le Boomerang André-Laurendeau dans la Ligue Collégiale du Québec (CEGEC).
En 25 parties de disputées avec cette formation en 2021-2022, Mathis a marqué 11 buts tout en ajoutant 11 mentions d’aide pour une récolte de 22 points à fiche.
Lors de sa dernière saison dans la catégorie U-18 avec l’École secondaire de Mortagne, il a marqué 22 buts et amassé 22 mentions d’aide pour 44 points.
« Je suis vraiment content de me joindre à l’organisation des Rapides », a mentionné Mathis tout récemment. « J’ai hâte d’entreprendre la saison et contribuer envers les succès de l’équipe ».
Mathis, originaire de Boucherville (Québec), se dirigera du côté de Grand-Sault à temps pour le début du camp d’entraînement des Rapides.

The Grand Falls Rapids are pleased to announce that forward MATHIS HUOT has committed to play with the Rapids for the 2022-23 season.
Mathis is a 6’5” and 190 pound forward who has spent the past two seasons playing with the team André-Laurendeau Boomerang of the Quebec CEGEC Collegiate League.
In 25 games played last season for the Boomerang, Mathis scored 11 goals and picked up 11 assists for 22 points.
In his last season in M-18 with École Secondaire de Mortagne, he totaled 44 points (22g and 22a).
“I am really happy to be joining the Rapids organization”, mentioned Mathis recently. “I can’t wait to start the season and to be able to contribute to the success of the team”.
Mathis will be travelling to Grand Falls in time for the start of training camp from his home in Boucherville, Quebec.
