LES RAPIDES FONT L’ACQUISITION DE L’ATTAQUANT TYLER BOIVIN
Les Rapides de Grand-Sault ont fait l’acquisition de l’attaquant TYLER BOIVIN,un joueur de 20 ans qui appartenait aux Flames de Gatineau dans la Ligue de hockey junior AAA du Québec.
En retour, les Rapides envoient à Gatineau l’attaquant MIGUEL PARÉ (20 ans) ainsi que le défenseur BEN MORIN, ainsi que des considérations futures.
Paré et Morin avaient chacun demandé à être échangés dans la région d’Ottawa en raison de leurs études. Les Rapides leur souhaitent donc bonne chance dans leurs plans futurs.
Lors des deux dernières saisons, Boivin a disputé un total de 100 parties dans la LHJMQ avec les Tigres de Victoriaville et les Olympiques de Gatineau. Les Rapides sont très heureux de cette acquisition, précisant que Tyler sera un ajout important parmi le groupe de joueurs offensifs de l’équipe.
Boivin est lui aussi très enthousiaste de se joindre aux Rapides :
« Je suis très excité de me joindre aux Rapides de Grand-Sault et j’ai hâte de me joindre à mes nouveaux coéquipiers lors du camp d’entraînement. »
RAPIDS ACQUIRE FORWARD TYLER BOIVIN
The Grand Falls Rapids have acquired 20-year old forward TYLER BOIVIN from the Gatineau Flames of the QJAAHL. In return, Grand Falls sends 20-year old forward MIGUEL PARÉ and 18-year old defenseman BEN MORIN along with future considerations to Gatineau.
Both Paré and Morin had requested a move to the Ottawa area for school reasons, so the entire Rapids organization wishes them well in the future.
For the past two seasons, Boivin has played a total of 100 games with the Victoriaville Tigers and the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL. The Rapids are happy with the move, indicating that Tyler will be a great fit with team’s group of forwards.
Boivin is also very enthusiastic about joining the Rapids:
“I am excited to be part of the Grand Falls Rapids and look forward to joining my new teammates at training camp. “
