RAPIDS WIN TWICE IN EXHIBITION PLAY

The Grand Falls Greenfoot Rapids won both of their games Sunday on home ice to open the 2026-2027 MHL exhibition schedule.

Against the Edmundston Blizzard, the Rapids came out on top 4-2. Grand Falls took a 2-0 lead in the opening period and led 3-1 at the midway point in the game.

Rhys Dickinson, Oliver Plante, Hudson Adams and Louis-Carl Tremblay all scored for the Rapids while Will McMullen and Jaxon Fraser replied for the visitors.
Gabriel Gagnon and  Dax Robichaud shared the work between the pipes for Grand Falls.

In the second contest played later in the afternoon, the Rapids defeated the Campbellton Tigers 3-2 in overtime. No information is available on the goal scorers.
