RAPIDS TRADE GOALTENDER NOLAN BOYD

The Grand Falls Rapids have traded goaltender NOLAN BOYD to the Aurora Tigers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League in exchange for future considerations.

Boyd played four seasons with the Rapids’ starting with the 2018-2019 campaign. He was the only member of the current edition still remaining from the first season when the team arrived in Grand Falls.

The fans will certainly miss his energy and enthusiasm on the ice. Boyd will also be remembered as an advocate for mental health issues. Opening up about his problems was a true example of courage and determination on his part and by sharing his experience, it most certainly contributed in making a difference in the lives of those who have to go through the same issues on a regular basis.

Grand Falls and the Rapids’ organization would like to wish Nolan all the best as he continues his hockey career.
