The Edmundston Blizzard sends defenseman ALEXIS JACQUES to the Grand Falls Rapids via Campbellton as completion of a previous trade.

Jacques (19 years old) played in 55 games last season for both the Edmundston Blizzard and the Campbellton Tigers, compiling a record of 11 goals and 29 assists for 40 points.
The Rapids have also acquired forward DAMON ENGLEHUTT from the West Kent Steamers, also as a future consideration in the Spencer Caines trade from the last campaign.
In 56 games last season for the Steamers, Englehutt scored 30 goals while adding 42 assists for a total of 72 points. He compiled a total of 26 power play points during the regular season (7 goals and 19 assists).
