RAPIDS COMPLETE TRADE WITH EDMUNDSTON

The Grand Falls Rapids have traded forward JEREMY D’ASTOUS and defenseman RAPHAEL DENIS to the Edmundston Blizzard, as well as a 2nd round pick (from Miramichi) and a 5th round pick in the 2025 draft.

In return, the Rapids acquire from the Blizzard forward NATHAN PLAMONDON-MICHAUD, the rights to AIDEN McCULLOUGH and future considerations.

D’Astous was the Rapids’ leading scorer this season with a record of 16 goals and 35 assists for 51 points. He is currently ranked 5th in the league’s scoring race.

As for Denis, he is the MHL’s leading scorer among defensemen this season with a record of 8 goals and 27 assists for 35 points.

Plamondon-Michaud, a 2005-born right winger, played in 34 games this season with the Blizzard, picking up 22 points (12g 10a). The Quebec City native had 2 power play goals to his credit this season.

As for Aiden McCullough (17 years-old), he is currently playing with the Cape Breton Eagles of the QMJHL.
