RAPIDS AND MARINERS COMPLETE A PRE-DRAFT TRADE

The Grand Falls Rapids have traded 19-year-old forward LIAM DUTCHER to the Yarmouth Mariners, as well as a 1st and 5th round pick in the 2026 MHL draft.
In return, the Rapids receive defensemen NIKOLAS MOKRIAKOV and JULIEN AVIGNON-BOURQUE and a first round pick (4th overall) in the 2025 MHL draft.
Mokriakov, a 2006-native from Halifax (NS), played in 42 games last season for both Summerside and Yarmouth, posting a record of 1 goal and 7 assists for 8 points.
Meanwhile, Avignon-Bourque suited up for Pictou County and Yarmouth during the 2024-2025 MHL campaign where he played a total of 45 games, earning 1 goal and 6 assists.
As for Dutcher, he joined the Rapids for only two games last season after playing 23 games with Amherst and Valley.
