The Grand Falls Rapids have acquired goaltender WILL HODGSON from the Summerside Western Capitals in exchange for a 5th round draft pick in the 2024 draft.
Born in 2005, the Fredericton (NB) native was an 8th round draft pick by the Edmundston Blizzard in the 2021 MHL draft.
Hodgson played in 3 games this season with the Valley Wildcats before being traded to the Western Capitals.
During the 2022-2023 season, Hodgson kept a goals-against average of 2.56 in the regular season and 2.00 in the playoffs while suiting up for the Fredericton Capitals in Midget AAA.
