RAPIDS ACQUIRE DEFENSEMAN ZACHARY SMITH
The Grand Falls Rapids have acquired 2002 born defenceman ZACHARY SMITH from the Truro Bearcats in exchange for a 5th round draft pick in 2022.
Born in Pembroke, Massachusetts, Smith played in 22 games this season for the Bearcats in his MHL rookie season, compiling a record of 1 goal and 4 assists while being penalized for a total of only 4 minutes.
Smith will join the Rapids for Saturday’s contest against the Fredericton Red Wings at the Grant-Harvey Centre.
