The Grand Falls Rapids have announced that forward DEREK BIRD has committed to the team for the 2024-2025 MHL season.
The 18-year-old from St.Basile-le-Grand (Quebec) played in 49 games last season for the Academie Le Sommet U-18 where he led his team in scoring with 32 goals and 28 assists for 60 points.
Listed at 6’0”, Bird also played in the USPHL Elite and in the NAPrepHL U-18 and U-18 AAA divisions.
The Rapids welcome Derek to the organization and to the community of Grand Falls.
