Canadian attacker Jérémy Boulanger will strengthen the EHC in the Landesliga next season

The 21-year-old moves from the Grand Falls Rapids to Bayreuth. After finishing his junior career, he played for the Carolina Junior Hurricanes for one season before returning to Canada last year. Now he dares to take the step across the pond.

Since he is still in Canada, we asked him from afar for a short statement about himself as a person and his goals.

“I’m really happy to play in Bayreuth next season. Last season I played for the Grand Falls Rapids in the Maritime Junior League and worked hard to get to the next level. These efforts have paid off. Of course, I want to continue to improve as a player in the coming season, but I also want to develop as a person far away from home in another country.

In terms of play, I see myself primarily as a team player. It would be really fantastic if we had a good playoff run and went far.
See you soon in Bayreuth!”

Jérémy will wear the shirt number 9 at the EHC.
